Such genres as rock and pop music in the modern music industry are fields that offer a diverse range of possibilities. Occupations in the music industry are also diversified, with numerous scenarios available for the future of students, including such professions as a musician, producer or arranger. The Rock and Pop Music Program aims to train people who can exhibit the value of being the only one at all times in the world of rock and pop music, where changes in trends occur quite rapidly. The program leads students to gain orientations that are suitable for individual skills, by imparting creativity for musical expressions, sophisticated performance skills, production capabilities for overall consolidation, and the like.
 Rock and pop music are music without text books and undergo changes and evolve on a daily basis. In order to pave the way for new potentials at all times, each student must gain sophisticated specialized capabilities. Lessons provided on demand with students selecting their own curriculum have been adopted and periodical reviews are implemented to polish the specialized skills of the students. Efforts are also being made to equip students with the spirit of cooperation in order for them to maximize the exhibition of their nurtured capabilities. Performance of music is not possible for a single person. The program trains students to become individuals that can broaden the potentials of new music by gaining a deep understanding that music can only be achieved with cooperative staff members and customers who come to listen.
